Day Five: 5 Things That Irritate You About The Opposite/Same Sex.

These usually apply to both sexes. 1.) Talking about something that, obviously, they don’t know anything about. 2.) Angry drunkeness. 3.) Crossing over the fine line between confidence and cockiness. 4.) Using inappropriate language or smoking around children. 5.) Being even lazier than I am 😉

wow. I made that list fast…

Happy April! and Day Four:

Happy April Everyone! Holy cow. Last night while I was finally getting ready for bed in the wee hours of the morning I discovered the ants had taken over my bedroom. So we were spraying the living hell out of my nightstand and the surrounding floor and by the time we were finished the room/whole house smelled so much like the spray that we had to camp in the living room. Before I go on complaining too much, might i suggest this spray to anyone that has pets. It is awesome, it works right away and when used in small quantities really doesn’t smell that bad. It’s called EcoSmart Organic Insecticide Ant & Roach Killer. It is SAFE for children and pets! And living in an older house with a healthy population of sugar ants this has been a life saver!

Anyways, Waking up in the living room thermarest, sleeping bags, boyfriend, kitties and all, with the sunshine streaming right down on my face was the perfect way to start my day. Jack Johnson radio on Pandora, french toast, bacon, and 4 cups of freshly brewed coffee later I finally got my man to wake up! It’s been a long time since I have woken up in a great mood, full of energy and ready to tackle the day. Coffee don’t fail me now!

Day Four: What you wear to bed.

Well I just happen to be one of those people who spin around in their sleep. So as not to strangle myself in the middle of the night I really don’t wear much. Comfy shorts and a cami is the usual. and NO SOCKS. I don’t know how you people do it. Wearing socks to bed is just plain weird. and gross? Haven’t you been wearing those all day!? With the exception of those really fuzzy soft socks that people usually give as gifts. You know the ones. I had a pair… but I lost one of them… *sigh* but my birthday is slowly approaching (hint hint). Anyway pajamas are over rated. Oh! and usually by about 2am I am wearing at least one cat sleeping on my head. 🙂

Day Three: What Kind of Person Attracts You?

In no particular order I tend to lean towards people who are:

-caring and naturally good natured.

-attractive. not only in looks but personality. this may seem shallow but it is the truth for more people than you think.

-level headed. have a good set of morals, it does wonders in your everyday life.

-strong willed. having goals and actively working towards them.

-knowledgeable. i like to learn things from others experiences.

-non-judgmental. being quick to judge doesn’t do anyone any good.

-open-minded. be willing to learn about what others may think without shutting them down.

-playful. life is fun! enjoy yourself!

-and animal lovers! 🙂

Day Two: How have you changed in the past two years?

Oh my. Where was I two years ago? So much has happened. One year ago I was just quitting my day job and my boyfriend and I were moving in with a few friends to save money. And a year before that… wow, I had just decided that I wasn’t going to continue with community college and had announced to my parents that I was moving in with my new boyfriend. 🙂 Oh the wonderful stresses of life and growing up. So how have these past years changed me? I have learned a lot about the world, and I have always thought of myself as a pretty accepting person, but boy have these years been challenging. Over the past two years I have learned what true love is and how much work a relationship takes. It may seem like sunshine and butterflies at first but life is still continuing on around you. My greatest challenge is staying focused on what I really want and what is most important. But I want EVERYTHING. So what do I choose? I don’t really know… nothing really… I had basically been following my nose until I decided to go back to work with dogs. Ahhh and how refreshing it is to enjoy what you do! A pay raise and a promotion later, my world started to take a course of its own and I started learning how to groom dogs. It hasn’t been easy but I have had so much support, I don’t know how I could have got through this without the help of others. I couldn’t have done it without them. Recently I have been trying to relax! The stress from the past few years has taken its toll and is exploding out of me at the worst possible times. Yes I have changed, but there are still more changes I need to make. I’ll update you when that happens. But for now, I live day by day. Hour by hour.

Day One: Weird Things You Do When Your Alone

Well, I tried to think of things while I was at work today and I just couldn’t seem to come up with anything interesting and seriously weird. But now that I am alone some other things are coming to my mind.

1.) Meow songs to my cats/ have full conversations with them and tell them about my day. That’s normal right?

2.) Read food blogs and get really hungry and then end up skipping dinner because it’s too late to make any food because i have been distracted >.<

3.) I noticed that when I am out in public walking around by myself (the grocery store, mall, outdoor marketplaces, etc.), I tend to look lost. But actually I am just being contemplative…. I think…. well, most the time. I just like to wander, it’s relaxing!

4.) Photobooth on my Macbook. Enough said.

5.) One of my friends told me about this website Omegle.com. This is for when I have nothing else to do besides talk to strangers from all over the world about pretty much nothing and anything at the same time. Try it one day.

6.) Change my outfit. Like 150 times a day. Like I am 10 years old all over again.

7.) I like to read. Books. That’s weird right?

Hello world!

I think I’ll start blogging. I need something to fidget with while I finally have time to sit down at home. It seems that lots of people have been writing and starting blogs now, why not me? I may not have the most exciting thrill-seeking life,  but maybe you might learn something new that has been bouncing around inside my head and you would have never known had I not started this blog.  And hey, it might even be kind of fun! My goal is to have every post be as positive as possible so that no matter what, there is at least one point in my day that I can sit down and see the humor in life. And to be thankful for things that make my everyday life special like warm banana bread and butter, fuzzy posters, Tupperware, cat nail clippers, ice cream, and just plain ole’ love.
